Connect CDR to BI
The P-Series PBX already empowers admins to leverage built-in report dashboards or create custom call reports to monitor call activities and agent performance.
With the V24.2 release, the new Data Connector feature extends these analytical capabilities by enabling secure, scheduled synchronization of PBX data to external databases. This allows administrators to build custom call center dashboards, set up self-managed monitoring alerts, or generate more deeper, tailored insights using their preferred BI tools.
How It Works: 3 Key Steps to Data Integration
- Integrate: Admins can seamlessly connect third-party databases, including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, to the PBX via Data Connector.
- Sync: The PBX automatically synchronizes selected datasets to your database on a preset schedule. This includes Call Detail Records (CDR) with full call stages and timelines, call recording metadata, system performance metrics, call notes, and AI-generated transcriptions and summaries.
- Analyze: Connect your database to Grafana, Power BI, and other leading BI platforms to design customized dashboards and perform comprehensive cross-system analysis.

AI Receptionist: Custom LLMs & Data Collection
The P-Series AI Receptionist already excels at handling 24/7 inbound calls, resolving knowledge-base queries, and routing calls intelligently. To further enhance its flexibility and adaptability, the V24.2 update introduces two powerful upgrades: structured data collection and customizable LLM providers.
Key Enhancements:
- Selectable LLM Servers: Beyond the built-in server, you can now select custom LLM providers as the engine for each AI agent, including Claude, Gemini, and GPT. This flexibility allows you to match the best-fit model to receptionists for specific business use cases.
- Tailored Logic with Custom Prompting: Define precise work boundaries, communication styles, and interaction logic for each AI receptionist. By tailoring prompts to the business needs, you can ensure the AI receptionists remain consistent, professional, and perfectly aligned with your brand voice or how you wish the AI receptionist to interact with customers.
- Context-Rich Data Handoff: Configure data collection rules to capture essential call details during AI-customer interactions. Information such as contact details, issue types, or account status is passed directly to the human agent’s interface upon transfer. This eliminates repetitive questioning and ensures agents have full context for every follow-up.

AI Transcription & Summary: Custom LLMs
The P-Series PBX has previously introduced powerful built-in AI assistance features, such as Voicemail Transcription, Call Transcription & Summary, to provide users with an automated and efficient calling experience. With the V24.2 GA update, we are introducing custom server configuration, empowering administrators to use preffered AI services via own API keys for greater flexibility and control.

- Flexible Transcription Service Providers: Both Voicemail and Call Transcription now support Yeastar’s built-in service for an out-of-the-box experience, as well as custom server integrations. You can now connect external providers, including OpenAI, AWS, Google, and ElevenLabs, via API keys.
- Selectable LLMs for Call Summarization: Gain the flexibility to choose between OpenAI or Google Cloud as your preferred summary LLM provider. This update allows you to leverage the specific processing strengths of different models to ensure the most accurate and relevant call summaries for your business conversations.

Sync AI Insights & Chat to CRM
Keep your CRM records enriched with real-time conversation data. With V24.2, the P-Series PBX can automatically sync Call Journals, along with AI-generated transcriptions, call summaries, call notes, and outbound chat messages directly into your CRM contacts. This eliminates manual data entry and ensures every interaction is accurately captured for enhanced visibility and follow-up efficiency.

Supported CRM platforms: Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, Bitrix24, Odoo, Zoho Desk, Zendesk, and other CRM systems via template-based integration

Additional Optimizations
- BLF Key Monitoring for Extension Groups: BLF keys can now monitor an entire extension group displaying caller ID information and enabling call pickup for any ringing extension within the group. Resolves previous limitations where physical BLF key count prevented monitoring multiple extensions simultaneously.
- Queue/Ring Group Failover Destination: Queues and ring groups now support a dedicated failover destination. When the primary call handling fails, calls are automatically routed to the configured backup, improving call continuity in high-availability deployments.
- WhatsApp Display Name Fallback: When an incoming WhatsApp message cannot be matched to a PBX contact, the conversation now displays the WhatsApp profile name, improving agent identification in omnichannel workflows.
- SMS Compatibility Added: SMS messaging now supports Voxteleys as an additional carrier.
