P-Series PBX V22.3 BETA Features
Advanced CDR & Call Timeline
Advanced CDR is one of the most anticipated features in V22.3 BETA. It replaces legacy CDR with a single-call storage model and introduces a new CDR Details view, enabling admins to review every call performance more efficiently, identify issues faster, and fine-tune call strategies through more granular analysis, capabilities that are especially valuable in contact center scenarios where detailed call visibility matters most.

From Legacy CDR to Advanced CDR
Previously, with Legacy CDR, a single call was recorded as multiple fragmented records. With Advanced CDR, each complete call is stored as a single CDR, simplifying review and analysis. On top of this, new added CDR Details brings more granular insights into every call, including call recordings, traceable call timelines, call duration breakdowns and other call-related data. After upgrading, all new call records will be stored in the Advanced CDR format.
Key Enhancements in Advanced CDR
- CDR Details: A new centralized table that brings together call recordings, timelines, call notes, and call duration insights. Admins can quickly search and filter CDR details by call type, participants, queues, ring strategies, and more ranges, greatly improving daily call review efficiency.
- Call Recordings: Each call leg is recorded as an audio file, displayed as an interactive waveform that can be played, paused, or navigated by dragging. Admins can adjust playback speed and volume, download recordings, and jump directly to any part of a call for conversation review or call performacne analysis.
- Call timeline: Tracks the full call interaction as a text-based journey, showing start/end points, routing paths, participants, notes, AI summaries and more interaction details, giving admins a complete view of each call for faster troubleshooting and analysis.
- Time Breakdown: Provides a visual overview of call durations, including total call time, routing time, handling time, and other breakdowns, allowing admins to quickly understand call flow efficiency, identify delays or abnormalities, and make informed decisions for process optimization.
- Call Note: Provides actionable insights for each call and can be edited directly within CDR Details, helping admins quickly capture key observations and make informed decisions.
CDR Management & Storage Improvements
- Each complete call is stored as a single record to reduce database usage.
- Supports automatic cleanup rules for long-term storage management.
- CDR reports can be exported in CSV, XLS, PDF, or HTML formats for easy analysis and reporting.

PBX Dark Mode
The eye-friendly Dark Mode is now supported across all PBX clients, including the PBX Management Portal, Linkus Desktop/Web clients, the Linkus Chrome Extension, and embedded apps for Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 (Mobile clients already supported previously). It provides PBX users and admins with a brand-new, more comfortable experience.

Bypass Linkus SIP Blocking
Linkus Mobile Client leverages secure Tunnel technology to bypass SIP restriction issues, ensuring users stay reliably connected with stable, high-quality calls. By doing so, it effectively overcomes carrier-imposed limitations, including registration failures, unstable connections, and degraded call quality.
*This feature is only supported on P-Series Phone System Appliance and Software Edition.
Additional Optimizations
- File Remote Archiving Enhancements: Remote call recording archives now support both .wav and .mp3 formats, with configurable retention limits on third-party servers to improve storage flexibility and compliance control.
- Expanded Virtual Fax Compatibility: Virtual Fax now adds support for the newly compatible IXICA platform, alongside existing providers such as Telnyx, ITZ Cloud, and Pangea, allowing users to send and receive faxes directly through the PBX without a physical fax machine.
- SMS Carrier Expansion: SMS integration carrier now supports Alhambra IT and Aspsms, alongside existing ITSPs such as General, Flowroute, Twilio, Telnyx, Bandwidth, SIPTRUNK and VOIP.MS.
- Fanvil Auto-Provisioning Enhancement: All Fanvil phones now support phonebook provisioning via AutoP, simplifying bulk deployment and ensuring consistent contact synchronization.
- Simplified DOD Switching via BLF: DOD switching and monitoring via BLF has been simplified. Users can now dial using Feature Code + DOD number or short code, removing the need to include the extension number and making daily operations faster and more intuitive.
*All the PBX features above are available for testing in the V22.3 BETA. Upgrade your PBX to the beta firmware or apply for a free trial and then upgrade to the beta firmware to explore them firsthand. We look forward to your feedback, please submit it via this form.

YCM Updates (For distributors & resellers)
Yeastar Central Management (YCM) is a remote management platform for Yeastar PBX systems and gateways. This update, already available for hosted users and coming on January 19 for BYOI deployment, introduces finer-grained access controls for daily operations. Read on to explore the latest features.
White-label Theme Customization
With the White Label Package for P-Series Cloud and Software Edition, branding goes beyond logo customization. You can now fully tailor the PBX theme and styling, including login page illustrations, primary brand color, success/error/warning/alert colors, neutral text, and primary/secondary background colors and more styling details, delivering a more complete and consistent brand experience for your PBX users.

Better SIP Trunk Access Control
YCM introduces Trunk Configuration Access and Trunk Access Control to provide more secure and granular management of SIP trunks for P-Series Cloud Edition (PCE). These layered permissions ensure trunk usage is controlled, operationally clear, while allowing precise delegation to PCE and downstream users.
Trunk Configuration Access
This permission controls who can configure and manage SIP trunks at the PCE or YCM user level. It can be enabled or disabled when assigning YCM user permissions or creating/batch-editing PCE instances. When disabled, PCE admins and YCM subordinate users cannot access trunk management settings or create new SIP trunks, ensuring trunk usage remains controlled and consistent, preventing unauthorized changes and avoiding configuration confusion.

Trunk Access Control
Trunk Access Control provides fine-grained permission management for the allocation and management of shared trunks for downstream users. This permission can be assigned to subordinate users, such as hosting users and resellers. Once granted, the Trunk Access Control tab becomes available in YCM, allowing controlled creation, modification, and assignment of shared trunks. This layered permission model helps ensure subordinate users’ use of shared trunks is transparent and manageable, simplifying overall trunk administration.

To learn how to set up SIP trunk access and control, see the Trunk Configuration Access and Trunk Access Control configuration guides.
PCE Terminal Registration Monitoring
YCM now provides comprehensive terminal registration data for P-Series Cloud Edition, covering Mobile, Desktop, Web, Pad, and SIP endpoints, and allowing you to monitor historical and real-time registrations without logging into each individual PCE.

Key Enhancements:
- Terminal Registration Overview: The line chart on the Dashboard provides an overview of terminal registrations across all managed PCEs, showing weekly or monthly trends by endpoint type, for example, mobile clients registrations rising from January to February.
- Single PCE Registration Insights: For each PCE, the Cloud PBX Resource Historical Usage view displays registration trends by endpoint type. For example, mobile registrations may rise from January to February while desktop registrations decline, allowing you to track per-endpoint trends on an individual PCE.
- Recent Usage & Exportable Data: The PCE data list now shows registration peak numbers by endpoint type for each managed PCE over the past three months, for example, the maximum desktop registrations for this month, last month, and the month before. Peak registration data for the last two months can also be exported for reporting or billing purposes.
These enhancements give you a clearer view of terminal registrations for both individual PCEs and all managed PCEs. You can track per-endpoint registration trends, compare recent usage, and export relevant data, making it easier to analyze PCE usage, plan capacity, and calculate billing. For more details on PCE registration monitoring, please refer to the Configuration Guide.
Granular Permissions for PCE Management
YCM now allows PCE management permissions to be assigned to specific users with much greater precision. Previously, PCE management operations such as adding, starting, or stopping PBXs, resizing capacity and more were grouped under a single Other Operations permission. This section has now been refined into granular permission categories, enabling each management access to be authorized independently and assigned only to the users who need it. As a result, PCE users can delegate responsibilities more accurately, reducing unnecessary access while improving both operational efficiency and management security.
