How the Solution Works
In the E1 access scenario of the Huawei optical access solution, there are 3 parts: CEN (Carrier Ethernet Network), Huawei multiservice access router (ATN910C), and the client-side Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX. The CEN is composed of two NetEngine40E-X8 universal service routers that deliver resilient network services with super-duper Multiservice Edge Router (MSER) functions. The connection between the network side and the client side (Yeastar PBX) is achieved by ATN910C. And, to be more specific, the PBX is connected to the ATN910C through the E1 digital line, which carries thirty-two (32) 64 kbps channels at 2.048 Mbps and transmits voice, data, and video over two pairs of copper wire. In the solution, Yeastar PBX server, together with the ATN910C and the E1 line, helps build the fiber-to-enterprise connection, providing all or part of the local loop used for last mile telecommunications.
By adopting the solution, an end-to-end layer 2 metro Ethernet access or mobile backhaul network is able to be built with the deployment of both Huawei ATN and NE40E series product. And the client-side Yeastar VoIP PBX users are also allowed to reap the benefits brought both by the CEN and the E1 line, enjoying a more reliable telephone network where voice traffic is delivered at a data rate.
