Every poor-quality call risks frustrating customers, delaying decisions, and missing valuable business opportunities. Call Quality Monitoring provides you with the visibility needed to detect issues early, troubleshoot faster, and deliver consistently reliable voice communications.
What is Call Quality Monitoring?
Call quality can vary depending on network conditions, device performance, and connection stability. Call Quality Monitoring is a feature that continuously measures and analyzes the quality of voice communications during calls. By collecting call quality data in real time, it provides visibility into key performance indicators such as MOS, packet loss, jitter, and latency, helping users better understand and evaluate call quality.
Call Quality Monitoring starts once a call is connected. During the conversation, the PBX continuously collects call quality data and analyzes key performance indicators in real time. As the call progresses, metrics such as latency, transmission quality, and receiving quality are measured. Users can view these metrics directly within their Linkus clients to gain immediate visibility into call performance.
After the call ends, the system automatically generates a detailed QoS report based on the collected call quality data. The report provides key call quality metrics to help users evaluate the overall quality of the conversation. Administrators and users can review these reports through Linkus clients or the PBX management interface. If poor call quality is detected, event notifications would be triggered to enable faster identification and resolution of communication issues.
