1. What's the user name and password of administration page?
    A1. The default user name is 'admin' and password is 'password'.
2. How to upgrade BizPBX?
    A2. Download the latest version from website and cover the old version directly.
3.Why my extension always failed to register even if the user name and password are absolutely correct?
    A3. Please confirm the UDP port configuration is correct on SIP Setting, and the default is 5060.
4. Why my extension can't dial outbound calls?
    A4. Please check whether this extension has authorized to call out, i.e. if the extension included in outbound route
5. Why I failed to call out through SIP trunking?
    A5. Through the status of trunk on web page, users can check whether the SIP trunks have registered successfully or
          not. If the LED of status is red, it means this trunk is unavailable.
6. Why I can’t call out thorough PSTN trunk?
    A6. Please make sure the PSTN trunks on outbound route have been plugged in telephone lines. BizPBX default calls
          out through the top trunks on outbound route.
7. Why there's no Caller ID for incoming calls from PSTN lines?
    A7.Please check whether PSTN line enabled Caller ID function, and try to modify 'Caller ID Signalling' and 'Caller ID
         Start' on Trunk configuration page. If still failed to resolve the problem, please contact with us.
8. Why it hangs up on incoming calls?
    A8.Please check whether the inbound route have been configured correctly.
9. Why it hangs up the incoming call at a particular time period?
    A9.Please check whether you enabled ‘Time Condition' that configured as ‘Hang up all incoming calls' on routers of
         business time and off-work time.
10. I upload my own WAV files but can not use them?
    A10.Maybe your WAV file format is different from the requirements IMA ADPCM, 8.000kHz, Mono, 3kb/sec. Please find
           more details on 'How to customize WAV file'.
11. How to use Call Monitor, desktop monitor and SMS service on Client?
    A11.Firstly, please configure the following options on BizPBX Server:
            1)System Settings->Advanced Modules->Enable Desktop Monitor, Call Monitor and  SMS service
            2)Extensions -> Choose on the extension that you want to give authority, Enter into 'Edit Extension' page ->
            Administration Authority -> enable 'Manage this group except below extensions' or 'Manage all except below
            extensions'.
            Secondly, log in this authorized extension on BizPBX Cleint, click the right key on Extensions list, you will see the
            call monitor, desktop monitor as well as the SMS services.
12. How to enable automatic recording function?
    A12.Please configure it on BizPBX Server program: System Settings->Advanced Modules->Enable->'Automatic
            Recording'.
13. How can I check and listen to the auto recordings?
    A13. 1)please configure the following options on BizPBX Server:
            Extensions->Choose on the extension that you want to give authority,enter into 'Edit Extension'
            page->Administration Authority->enable 'Manage this group except below extensions' or 'Manage all except
            below extensions'.
            2)log in this extension on BizPBX Client, you will see the 'Auto-Recording' on lab and you can play all the
            recordings.
14. How to receive fax on BizPBX Client?
    A14.Firstly, please configure the following options on BizPBX Server:
           1)Inbound call control->inbound routes->Trunk Sequence, select a trunk to receive fax.
           2)Route calls during/outside office hours to Destination->Fax, select an extension to receive fax.
           Secondly, log in this extension on BizPBX Client, Email->Fax->Inbox to check the received faxes.
15. How to send fax on BizPBX Client?
    A15.Firstly, convert the file into TIFF format, please refer to the steps:
            Secondly, on BizPBX Client, Email->Create->Create Fax, you will see a pop-up Window
            1)Enter the fax number
            2)Attach the file that you want to fax and click 'ok' to send fax
            3)You can check the status on OutBox
            Status:
            1)Send failed: fax failure, system will fax it again every 25 seconds.
            Remark: If system fails three times, it will not try again to fax this file.
            2)Resend: It means system is resending fax.
            3)Sended: it means fax the file successfully.
16. Why it always fail to send fax?
    A16.It mainly because of the incorrect fax number, not send out through PSTN trunk or the other party's fax machine is
            busy. Please install Yeastar TDM800 card with FXO port to connect PSTN line.
17. How can I call out through trunks when I call in to an IVR?
    A17.1)'Auto Attendant'->enable 'Direct Dial to out-line number'
           2)Outbound Route->Apply this rule to->enable 'calls from auto attendants',select the auto attendant that allowed
           to make outbound calls directly.
18. How to setup Call limitations on extension?
    A18.Admin can setup the Route Rule to limit extensions for domestic and international long distance calls.
19. The call happens to voice single-pass situation, i.e. one party can hears the other but the other party can
       hear nothing
?
    A19.Please check firewall settings on router or change gateway default codec order. If there is something wrong with
            the settings on firewall of router, then router may discard the data packets that send or receipt by equipment; if
            settings are all right, please enable the STUN Server, Main menu->system settings->general settings->STUN
            Server and then try again.
20. The extension status is 'registered', but no matter how I called, extension is always 'Forbidden'?
    A20.It mainly because administrator changed password of your extension, but you still haven't registered again.
            Please use the new password and register one more time. If you are using IP phone, please reboot IP phone.
21. Can I work BizPBX Client with USB phone, microphone or other audio devices??
    A21.Generally BizPBX Client can work with any audio device. You can switch over the audio devices on
           'Tools'->'Options'->'Audio device'.
22. Why the voice appears on-and-off on Skype outbound calls?
    A22.It mainly results by the insufficient bandwidth. Generally, every Skype call will cost about 40Kbps.
23. Why the call can't be hanged up when FXS extension hangs up? And on the BizPBX Client the status shows
       the call on hold?
 
    A23.It mainly caused by incorrect detection that detect the hang up as on hold. Users can adjust Flash time to solve
            this problem, BizPBX Server program->System setting->General Settings->Flash Time Setting->Flash time (default
            value is 100~900 ms), please adjust it to 500~900 ms.
24. How can I setup the PSTN busy transfer function?
    A24.You need to apply this function to your PSTN provider.
